hey ! im wondering if any of you guys can help me. its pretty important to me. at times when im singing, especially higher notes, i have a "breathy" sound in my throat. ive tried drinking hot water / hot water and honey / hot water and honey and lemon, and vocalzone dontseem to help either. some advice please ?

I would say you probably have a technique issue. The best solution is always to take at least a handful of lessons with a qualified professional.
You can drink all of the hot water you want, but if it is a technique problem, it will never be fixed. All you do is jeopardize your long term ability to use your voice.
i do take lessons. thanks for the advice, i think it might be down to breath control.

I agree with the above - that's definitely technical issues. It's hard to diagnose technique issues without ever hearing you, but my best guess would be that you're letting to much air escape through your vocal chords (i.e. they're not coming together completely), which is creating the breathy sound. Talk to your voice teacher for help on working on this issue.
